Based on the records, Doctor’s Profile, Patient Profile and the type of evaluation that has been requested for that specific patient, Dr. Rob Veis will complete a comprehensive diagnosis. If we need further information to complete the evaluation or if there is a concern with the case, the Second Opinion staff will contact your office.

The diagnosis, in the form of a Printed or Digital Report, and all of your records (models, wax-bite, cephalometric x-ray, photos, panorex, etc.) are then returned to the doctor’s office.
NOTE: If desired, the appliance(s) can be fabricated upon the completion of the report.

Doctor reviews the completed report. The treatment plan is then presented to the patient.

If the doctor decides to go ahead with treatment and appliance fabrication, new patient models are sent to Space Maintainers Laboratory
along with a Construction Bite (if applicable), the appliance voucher, and the signed Rx slip.
