OUR ON-STAFF DENTIST
Dr. Rob Veis D.D.S. - Our resident dentist at your
service
Our on staff dentist, Rob Veis, D.D.S., began decades ago as a solo general
dentist and has been a part of both solo and group practices. In 1990, Dr. Veis
joined the teaching staff of Space Maintainers Laboratories. Dr. Veis has been
a veteran lecturer for over twenty years and continues to speak in the United
States, Canada, Mexico and Australia (among others) on topics ranging from the
application of Appliance Therapy dental techniques to dental economics and
practice building.
He is co-author of the Manual of Appliance Therapy for Adults and Children,
author of The Practice Building Bulletin and co-author of the Treatment of
Snoring and Sleep Apnea for the General Dentist. Dr. Veis is also the author of
the Principles of Appliance Therapy for Adults and Children, the most
comprehensive and up-to-date Appliance Therapy reference available, with
everything you need to implement Appliance Therapy into your general practice.
Throughout his career, he has continued his own education, attending seminars
and continuing education courses every year to ensure that his knowledge of the
dental industry and current dental techniques is second to none.
Dr. Veis has served as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of
Southern California for more than a decade, teaching coursework on Removable
Prosthodontics, Restorative Therapy, Diagnosis and Treatment Planning and
Occlusion. He has guest lectured at the University of California-Los Angeles on
several topics as well.
As head of the Educational staff at Space Maintainers Laboratory and knowing
the needs of the General Dentist, Dr. Veis created a Diagnostic division called
the Second Opinion. The unique quality of this service is that each case that
is submitted for a Diagnostic evaluation is reviewed personally by a fellow
colleague… thus a true Second Opinion.
Dr. Veis is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General
Dentistry, the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of
Gnathologic Orthodontics, and Academy of Sports Dentistry. He currently
maintains a private practice in Los Angeles, California.
